Tell me stories about Jesus
How He walked on the sea
I love hearing stories about Him
Please tell them again to me.
I want to hear how little children
Liked to gather at His knee
Hearing His words of wisdom
So happy and so free.
Tell me again how in the garden
He prayed with distress and pain
I want to hear about the cross
Where My Jesus was slain.
Tell me about Jesus and His love
How He taught us to kneel to pray
Tell me over again that He lives today
With God, HIs Father, in heaven above.
Now I know the wonderful Story of Jesus
How He freely gave His life for me
I will love and praise Him as I sing
And the beautiful bells in heaven will ring.
Now I know Jesus has forgiven my sins
He died on the cross to set me free
I have taken Him as my Lord and Savior
And in heaven Jesus is waiting for me.
