My precious Lord Jesus,
I come before You;
Trust in Your perfect ways,
Lord, I vow to do.
Though the rain may pour,
Though the wind may blow,
All things You work for good,
This, my Lord, I know.
When my feet feel unsteady,
When my path is unclear,
I trust nonetheless
That my Beloved is near.
Your gentle hand I see
In the sweet blessings of favor;
Your luxurious graces
I embrace, and I savor.
Yet in the gift of trial,
I see Your hand too;
Surely the challenge
Sculpts me more into You.
To those who love Him,
God works all things for good;
I release all to You then,
As Your loving child should.
Though the rain may pour,
Though the wind may blow,
Songs of sweet joy I reap
From the tears I sow.
I sing of Your love, Jesus,
I sing of Your goodness too;
All things You work for good,
All of myself I give You.

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things
God works for the good of those
who love him, who have been called
according to his purpose.
