When the sun is setting
Behind the evening cloud
When twilight has made its way
Thoughts of you return making me proud
You're the frosting upon my cake
The sugar within my most favorite pie
You're the dream in my every night time
I never even begin to wonder the reason why
You're the blue I see in my sky
The pitter patter in the needed rain
You're the 'wis' in all of my known wisdom
And relief in times of suffering and pain
You're the "joy" in my enjoyment
The star that lights up my sky when dark
You're the wind that keeps my sail boat afloat
And the essence of everything in which I embark
