(Jesus) Unchanging Amid Changes

Quiet morning,
Gentle breeze,
Joyful skies,
Dancing trees,

Colors of Autumn
Burst all around,
As radiant leaves
Adorn the ground,



The winds whisper
Of changes ahead,
Heavenly hues smile
In gold and red..

Yes, glorious is
This Autumn day,
Precious is
This purposeful way,



Because You, O Jesus,
Walk with me,
All ‘round may change
In all I see,

Yet my Rock
Is Your Mighty Name,
Always You are
Wonderfully the same.



So I embrace
The changes ahead,
Grateful You walk with me
These steps I tread,

Rejoicing in the glory
I see all around,
Happy Your love
My heart has found.



Yes, I celebrate
With each Autumn tree..
Eternal and unchanging
Is Your love for me!
