In this fast moving world we live in today
We go about our own self centered way
And we never take the time to listen
What our Lord is trying to say.
Our days are always so crowded
And hours seem so few
And we say we never have time
Because there is so much for us to do.
We never take time to stop and say
Hello, how are you, on this lovely day
We never take time to stay in touch
Does God want us rushing so much.
So remember to smile and be happy
Slow down and look around along the way
And never forget to thank God as you pray
For giving us the beauty of another day.
