Set me as a seal upon your heart, As a seal upon
your arm; for love is as strong as death.
Many waters cannot quench love,
nor can the floods drown it.

Because of God, I cherish you
In awe, I marrry you my love,
Of all I am, I pledge to give,
Before The Father, Spirit, Son.
May all who hear our vows this day
Stand witness to the words I say,
I promise to be yours alone
Within this love The Father gave.



I make this covenant today
Of married faithfulness to you
With honour, now I give my life
Because I love and cherish you.
As in His promises we join
To share of body, mind and soul,
I will protect in sorrow, joy
Your life in mine I'll always hold.



Where'er you go, whate'er you face
In sadness or in happiness,
Come riches, poverty or tears
With you I'll rest upon God's grace.
I'll seek to give and to receive
And strive to listen, share my dreams,
Grow on with you in God alone
To needs you have I will respond.



My hearts desire is you to aid
Encourage, comfort from this day,
For harmony, with you I'll strive,
Of all, I'll prize you by my side.
By God's own power I'll seek to be
The partner He knows you need,
I bind my heart, my place by you
My life, my love, my all to give.



As one this day, God now declares
My life is gone, for love that's true,
May garden fruit, each stone replace
While in God's love I cherish you.

Poetry From The Heart

I love you. Today is a very special day.
Long ago you were just a dream and a prayer.
Thank you for being what you are to me.
With our future as bright as the promises of God,
I will care for you, honor and protect you.
I lay down my life for you my friend and my love.
I give myself wholly to you this hour and I promise to guard,
cherish and protect you all the days of my life.
My mind is clear and my commitment
is strong and without reservation.
I take you to be my life's partner.
I will never leave you nor forsake you;
I will spend all my days at your side.
We will share a lifetime of eternal, immeasurable love.
All that I am and all that I have,
I offer to you in love and in joy.
Because of you, I laugh, I smile, I dare to dream.
I look forward with great delight to
spending the rest of my life with you,
caring for you, nurturing you, being there
for you in all life has for us,
and I vow to be true and faithful
for as long as we both shall live.
