Lord, I ask thee for my daily strength
So I will seek your will to do
You bought me with your precious blood,
You are my Lord, I love you too.
This world cannot offer any enjoyment
Jesus offers eternal life for evermore
Hallelujah, Jesus broke the bars of sin
At last, at last, you and I can enter in.
Jesus gives to all a life of happiness
Fills our hearts with praise and singing
We can drink from God's full supply
His boundless grace will never run dry.
Jesus often waits to sit you upon His knee
Hold us with His loving strong arms
He says, come, rejoice with me my friend,
Your life with me will never end.
May you feel God's gentle loving touch
Look into the heavens, give Jesus a smile
Living in His presence, is sweet relief
On His sheltering wings you can rest in peace.
