Raindrops falling,
All around,
The rhythm of their joy
The only sound,

The pitter-pattering
Of drops from above,
Flowing down
As drops of love,

Nourishing the earth,
Washing the fields,
Singing of green
The water yields..

Yes, raindrops fall
All around me,
Shimmering on leaves
Of every tree,

Singing of Jesus,
Of His love for all,
Wide and deep,
Long and tall,

Dancing delightfully
In the air,
Telling of His grace
Beyond compare,

Making music
With pure delight,
Sharing of His joy,
Of His might,

So as the rain
Kisses my skin,
I think from Whom
All graces begin,

I think of Jesus,
Of His sweet love,
Flowing to me
From Heaven above.

Yes, as raindrops fall
Blissfully all ‘round,
I sing of Jesus,
Of His love I found!
