Autumn Bluebirds written by Joyce Ann Geyer with love......

Autumn Bluebirds.....

Eastern Bluebirds are fun to see
Easier to find with Autumn's darker tones
These pretty birds stay longer in a birdhouse
They will stay in an abandoned Woodpecker's home

Creating their nests of pine needles, feathers, and hair
Soft lovely birds a pleasure to view
They sit a bit longer on your fence
You'll be lucky to see them in numbers of two
Bluebirds no longer as common as Robins
Perhaps the Sparrows chased them away
Learn the type of seeds that attract them
So build them a birdhouse, encourage them to stay

Place the feeder right outside of their home
In an area on a tree of a lower branch
God's pretty creatures of sky blue hue
You'll find them in a larger area as on a ranch

Poetry by Joyce

These things I have spoken unto you, that
my joy might remain in you, and that your
joy might be full.
