God has brought us to this very day
From diverse places, ways of heart
Leading all along the way
For all He would impart

He began our first beginnings
And grew us through it all
To where we are this moment
To live within our soul

He kept us in the blazing fires
Each storm we have endured
Through winter's night or summer heat
Our path He has made sure

And in the flush of autumn's change
As color fades away
We see a fresh re-birthing, spring
Of truth we know this day

We accept each weakness as the need
Of nought to heed, but love
Calmly walking in His footsteps
In praise for all He's done

Glad for His tomorrows
And grateful for the past
For it has brought us to His heart
To wonder that will last
