Well, I forgot your Birthday
My thoughtless brain has fled
And all that seems to be up there
Is an empty hole in my head....
I'm sorry that I forgot
A poor excuse It's true
But Happy Birthday anyway
Now that I think of you....

And hope that you can see
Even friend's forget sometimes
Even little old brainless me.
