World's Best Dad
As a man you must feel it in your spirit
And deep within your soul,
There is a place for you
One you can surely know.
As you walked along life's fairway
Seeking for your swing,
You found how to be real
In searching for 'your thing'.
Life brought to you some blows
Like grief and war and hurt,
Yet you kept on praying
Your heart would not be burnt.
Tempted to shrink back in the shadows
For the distance seemed too far,
You were determined to find in life
The authentic swing you are.
God told You He was your guide
He's been with you all along,
As you walked within the course
You knew which traps were wrong.
Thankyou, for your wisdom
For lining up with faith to see,
You got the hole in one
Thankyou
You are the one for me.

I talk and talk and talk, and I haven't taught people
in 50 years what my father taught by example in one week.
- Mario Cuomo
It's only when you grow up, and step back from him,
or leave him for your own career and your own home--
it's only then that you measure his greatness and
fully appreciate it Pride reinforces love.
