Daughter, I am here,
Right here in your heart;
Child, I am here
As I have been from the start.
If you do not sense Me,
If My voice you do not hear,
Simply still your thoughts
To find I am right there.
If you do not see
The eternal light I shine,
Pause for but a moment
To contemplate love divine.
If you do not feel
The love I have for you,
Close your eyes completely,
To know My love is true.
For you see, My child,
I am in your heart always,
Throughout all the moments,
Throughout all your days.
If you feel I have left you,
Remember this cannot be so;
I remain within your heart
Upon every step you go.
Yet how can you hear Me
If your thoughts you do not still?
How can you feel My love,
How can you know My will?
So learn, My child,
To be still throughout the day;
For then you hear My voice,
Then you know My way.
Then you will sense Me,
My whisper you will hear,
Yes, when you still your thoughts,
You find I am right there.
Precious child, I am here,
I have loved you from the start;
Forever I am here,
Yes, right here in your heart.
