Jesus understands life can be confusing
Leading us to walk an endless trail
Evil ones try to discourage us
But trusting in Him we will not fail.

Though we travel in the vast unknown
We know we are never alone
Jesus will lead us to where peace awaits
In the city beyond the gates.



We must avoid all pitfalls on the way
We must not falter and fall
We pray for courage every day
We have faith Jesus will sustain us all.

We never doubted His word to lead us
And we always believed Jesus knew best
Tired and weary we were ready to enter
The city beyond the gates and rest.
