The birds sing
All around me,
Dancing in the branches
Of each blissful tree,
Telling me a story
Of love, sweet love,
Sharing a song
Of Heaven above,
Reminding me always
That Jesus reigns,
He wipes away tears,
Erases our pains,
He renews the mind,
He refreshes the soul,
He makes the heart
Happy and whole...
So here in the sunshine,
In warmth of spring,
I rejoice as the birds
Around me sing,
I smile as the sunrays
Pour from the sky,
Adding joy to my heart,
Sparkles to my eye,
Reminding me of Jesus,
Who reigns high above,
Warming my soul
With His precious love...
Yes, I sing with the birds
All around me,
As Jesus, my King,
Loves me infinitely!
