The Foliage Of Autumn
The foliage of Autumn,
The painted leaves of Fall
Are gifts from God the Father
Delighting one and all.
How very much He loves us
To send such beauty rare,
When golden days of Autumn
Unfold their treasures fair.
There is a special gladness
At this time of the year,
When every heart says welcome
To bright October's cheer.
I will remember always
The glory of it all-
The foliage of Autumn,
The painted leaves of Fall.
