A
rainbow is a blessing
Of a covenant to keep
God placed it in the sky
To say His promise was complete
And so I send to you
A rainbow blessing too
For you to know the touch of God
His loving vow for you
For He will always keep you
And hold you in His hand
For the color of His heart
To forever understand
Every shade of His palette
Is made to liven up your world
To see all of His beauty
His wonder to unfurl
May red tell you of His gift
Orange, the joyful fruit of life
Yellow the glow of golden sunshine
Green, the growth within His light
Blue the heights of heaven above
Indigo, His endless depths
Violet His royal reign
All the promise of the love He sends.

The
rainbow is symbolic of the faithfulness of God's promise.
We can only see a little of God's loving
A few rich treasures from His mighty store,
But out there - - far beyond the eyes horizon
There's more, immeasurably more.
