I asked Jesus into my heart one day
This is what He had to say,
You must be born again
And be free of all your sin.

I knelt to my knees and began to pray
I became a new person that day
Because Jesus forgave me of all sin
And I knew I had been born again.

Jesus is my light shining so bright
He took the darkness and made it light
He always hears me when I pray
Jesus fills my life with joy in every way.

I am born again since Jesus set me free
I give Him praise for blessing me
He forgave my sin with grace and love
And watches over me from heaven above.
