Baking CHRISTmas Delights
Now, let's set aside a little loving
For a delicious bake is due
Christmas delights to make
To be shared by me and you
We'll, take a pinch of tenderness
Some spice n' laughter too
The Christmas story all mixed in
For goodness all year through
We'll need a bunch of thoughtfullness
And a candle's pretty glow
Joyful carols, cheerfulness
And a sprig of mistletoe
Let's heap in countless hugs
Eternal hope and light
The kindest words, oh pour them in
And a star plucked from the night
From the fireplace, an ember warm
And memories to keep
Cherry kisses, hands to hold
To make our baking sweet
Then slip it in the heart to bake
Until warm, to give away
With generous thoughts to always pray
For everyone each day

CHRISTmas is most sweet
if with joyful hearts
we share God's loving treats
