Friendship's Christmas written by Derry~aka~Heartwhispers with love........
Friendship's Christmas....

I so want this Christmas to be remembered
By having you quite near
So, I've been a ponder how
I can somehow have you here

'Tis quite an impossibility
But, I shall surely find a way
Maybe tuck you in my pocket
My secret, sssh now, don't you say
Okay, well you are too big, so then
I'll slip you in my snowglobe, wriggle, jiggle, squirm
Oh, you don't like snow-too cold-
Oh dear, now where do I turn

I cannot wrap you in a gift
'Cause they're all to give away
I sure can't have you swept up, gone
To someone else on Christmas day!
Sigh, oh my, what shall I ever do
With you, just as you are
OH, I KNOW! I will keep you warm and cozy
Here, tucked within my heart

Poetry from the Heart

More light than we can learn,
More wealth than we can treasure,
More love than we can earn,
More peace than we can measure,
Because one Child is born.
