The time had come
God gave the command,
Jesus-delivered,
By the love of His hand
One memorable moment,
In history set,
Jesus our Redeemer
From heaven sent
'Twas that very moment
That love became man,
Almighty God
As a crucified lamb
'Twas only one day
But all heaven stood still,
when God gave His all
For death to be killed
Precious the moment
Wondrous the plan,
when heaven burst forth
With love for all man
