Christmas memories from my past
Of loving parents will always last
Friends and family around our tree
Celebrating joyous Jesus jubilee
Dinner, drinks and music Christmas Eve
Conversation, comradely and love we all receive
Children playing with the train behave their best
Satin bows, velvet dress, and the boys in their vests
Now it's time for Christmas midnight mass
Excitement nothing could surpass
Long lasting memories of long ago
Singing as we walked through the snow
Friendly greeters at the chapel door
Shaking snow from our coats we all came to adore
Softly singing praises to our Lord
Calmness, serenity and peace was our reward
Walking back snow was glistening with Christmas lights
Happiness and joy filled our hearts, and the evening was bright
Time to exchange our gifts sitting happily near our Christmas tree
Treats of figs, sugar cookies, fruitcake and candy with our tea
Scents of cinnamon, clove, orange and lemon peel
Exuberance from all filled with love and zeal
Christmas memories of times past
We still celebrate this way and have a blast.

For thou, LORD, will bless the righteous
Psalms 5:12
May Jesus always be your joy, your hope, your song.
And may this CHRISTmas and each day of the New Year
be directed by His guiding hand of love!
