I wish I could go shopping-
Walk decorated malls with you,
We'd pause at every window
And gaze into the view.
We'd press our noses to the glass
And make it misty white,
And laugh and choose our favorite toy
From everything in sight.
We'd wrap our scarves around our necks
And puddle through the snow,
Softly hum a pretty carol
And sing the ones we know.
We'd find a cozy cafe nook
And order cake and tea,
Just sit and talk of Christmas joy
How Jesus set us free.
The clock would stand quite still for us
A miracle in time,
So we could have ourselves a Christmas
That's truly yours and mine.

Poetry From The Heart
My prayer for you at Christmas is ever tender, true,
And from my heart, because it is for you.
You will always be so treasured,
for the very way you live,
In every prayer at Christmas,
always, my love to you I give.
