The perfect gift...
The perfect gift...

At Christmas, every time we choose a gift,
In the sweet selection,
Shall we remember, all the love
Our Father chose to give,
Through the perfect gift
Of His own precious Son.

While we wrap our chosen gift
With a very tender thoughtfulness,
Will we be overcome,
How God enfolded the world
In His love, when, only to die
He came from above.

As we fasten each part with tape,
And quietly contemplate,
May we recall how secure we truly are,
How kept,
And so steadfastly held
By the love of His own precious heart.

While we tie the ribbon around,
Might the looping remind us
How we are completely covered
By His sacrifice,
When He spread His arms out wide
To give His perfect life.

Then, as we top the gift,
With only the prettiest bow,
To present with sweet content,
Won't our hearts celebrate and overflow
In heartfelt gratitude,
For the wonderful love,
Of the Saviour we know.

Jesus, the gift of all gifts,
At Christmas and always
our God loves to give.

Poetry From The Heart

God's gift to the world,
His own Word made flesh
A tiny little babe,
the most silent creche.
God's gift to the world,
on that dark silent night
His own perfect Son,
Our Saviour, our life.
God's gift to the world
His most perfect gift,
None other could give
His own Son to die,
so we now, can live.

Wishing you all the hapiness
of peace, love and joy
your heart can hold

Merry CHRISTmas
