When Jesus was born in the manger that night
and the bright star was seen by three.
Lying there wrapped in swaddling clothes
He must have been thinking of me.

When He was awakened by frighten men
and He reached out to calm the sea.
I am sure as He said, "Peace Be Still"

When He was spit on and mocked by men
He was still willing to face Calvary.
On His frail back He carried the cross
