My tears trickling
You have dried so tenderly,
From those flowing waters
You have planted joy in me.
From the darkest depths
You have lifted my soul,
Binding my heart,
Making me whole.
The shrouds of mourning
You have taken away,
Clothing me in joy
Brighter than noonday.
Precious Lord Jesus,
You are my help, my light,
My guide, my compass,
My star in the night.
Worthy of Your love
Surely not am I,
Yet for me and my salvation
You chose to die.
The power of Your Cross
Is forever in my mind:
There I behold
Endless love for mankind.
So every moment
My heart for You does sing,
I delight in blessings
To me You bring.
Yea, my tears trickling

Because there on the Cross, Jesus,
I see Your love for me.
