I have traveled many country roads
Driving along without a care
And praying for wisdom as I go
Knowing that Jesus is there.



I will go where Jesus wants me
With Him leading me all the way
He holds my hand keeping me safe
So I will not wander and go astray.



Country roads can be very rugged
Many bends can cause delay
I will not worry with Jesus at my side
And I have no fear come what may.



Country roads are beautiful to travel
Tall trees growing along each side
My soul is happy and satisfied
Because I have Jesus as my guide.
