Sometimes I need a quiet place to pray
I found that place in our pasture one day
A flowing creek between the tall trees
Standing on the bank I felt the cool breeze.
Somehow I knew this was the quiet place
I needed to slow down my busy pace
I knelt on the bank and begin to pray
Thanking God for leading me this way.
By a flowing creek God heard my prayer
I felt peace and love in my heart kneeling there
I know God's loving arms were holding me
And by a flowing creek God set my soul free.
