CHRISTmas Season
Christmas Day is drawing near
Carolers are going door to door
People are out shopping
For bargains in each store.

Christmas lights twinkle each night
Lighting up the darkened sky
Music fills the air around
Proclaiming Christ on high.
Trees are decorated with such care
Ornaments are hung on each limb
People gather in a nearby church
Where they sing such beautiful hymns.

Presents are wrapped in colorful paper
Adorned with ribbons and bows
Stockings are hung on the fireplace mantle
And from doorways hang mistletoe.
Snowflakes gently start to fall
Covering the ground in a shade of white
Making everything look so pristine
Creating such a beautiful sight.

But these days prior to December 25th
Should not cause you to forget
That Christ was born on CHRISTmas Day
And with His life, He paid our debt.
