The Eagle
Let Freedom Ring
The Eagle flies across America
The beauty of this bird stands for our Freedom.
I am very proud to gaze upon this work of art,
In times of peace or when we are at war,
Our American Eagle stands tall.
The wings are so wide
They look like they can touch the sky
I look for this very close friend,
In the hope we will all live again.
If I could fly with The Eagle
What wonder I could see
Through all of America, in every state
The Eagle flies with such grace
It brings a tear to your eyes.
I wonder why this land
and all that it stands for
Is like an Eagle in flight
Why God chose to put His special care,
In this country from all walks of life,
In times of trouble,
We come together and soar like The Eagle on high.
