I sought for you a special gift
That you may keep eternally
Here it is, I prayed to find
For you, a bless-ed Easter tree
All wrapped up before your eyes
Branches tied with eggs to view
Unfold each one, so very true
Filled with wonder just for you
God's own peace to guard your way
Courage for another day
Beauty for your soul to fly
Rainbows arcing in your skies
Gentle griefs your faith to grow
Bible truth to make your own
Smiles sweet from light within
Laughter from where'er you've been
Morning sun to bless your soul
Sunsets warm, your heart enfold
Roses swirling 'bout your feet
The Spirit's joy to be complete
Jesus' comfort ever near
Friendship kind with someone dear
Angels close to guide your path
Hugs around your tender heart
Tranquil dreams in darkest night
