The calmness of morning
Now envelops me;
In these sweet, still moments
I feel eternity.

I crave Your presence,
A soul parched for drink;
Your will be done, Lord,
In all I say, do and think.

For You are Life,
You are Truth, You are Love;
Your warm Son~rays stream
From Heaven above.

How I savor these moments,
The stillness of the morn;
In them my heart revives,
My inspiration is reborn.

My heart now stilled,
I feel Your loving embrace;
My thoughts fixed on You,
I see Your radiant face.

Your Spirit, too, I feel,
Pouring upon me;
The joy of Your presence
Dances in the flowers I see.

I vow in the morning,
Before setting out for the day,
To offer my life as a sacrifice,
To follow Your sacred way.

Should amidst the tasks
I find I am off-track,
I need only to still my heart,
For then You lead me back.

Jesus, You are Way,
You are Truth, You are Love;
Forever You guide me,
Your light streams from above.

I feel Your presence, Lord,
Your Living Water I drink;
Your will be done, Lord,
In all I do, say and think.

Soaring to new heights,
Your love envelops me;
In these sweet, still moments
I feel eternity.
