When I Lift Up My Eyes When I lift up my eyes into heaven above What a beautiful scene I see I see my Lord standing there With His arms reaching for me And I say, Oh my Lord, take my hand I see my Mama and Daddy Who is long gone on Smilin' sweetly and lookin' down at me I see His nail scared hands And His tenderness there And I cry Oh My Lord, Lead the way No more troubles, no more cares No more darkness for me At last I will find peace and rest For the Mercy of the Lord Shines down on me And thru Him I have found perfect peace.
