My thoughts have turned to you
How great my admiration
For the fathering you do
My heart just glows with joy
To see the faithfulness you live
Now such a special father
In the strength and care you give
How precious is your tenderness
Protection, fun and love
If I chose a Father of the year
Then you would sure be one
