Fathers love a safe harbor
Dad, on your special day, I want to say
Your love has been so heaven sent,
A precious place where my tender heart
Could be securely kept.
I'm so thankful that you have mirrored
An eternal love for me to know,
In sharing of your Fatherly heart
Such a lasting love you've shown.
For that is surely the greatest gift
To me you could ever hope to give,
As you care enough for me
To unveil how to forever live.
Today I want to thank you for all your love,
a safe harbor for me to shelter in.
