Fixed on eternity
Let my eyes be,
That which is unseen
Let my eyes see.
For that which is seen
Surely will not last,
Yet that which is unseen
Is eternally vast.
So, my Lord Jesus,
Let my eyes see You
That I may focus
On all eternal and true.
Remind me the glimmer
Of the world is vain;
For only in Your heart
True treasures I gain.
I await eagerly
The Day we shall meet;
Glorious will be that moment,
Wondrously sweet.
Until then, my Savior,
The unseen is my guide,
For in Your precious heart
I choose to abide.
Eternal treasures
I know in Heaven are mine,
This only by Your grace
Endless and divine.
