Today I saw a butterfly
I was thinking of you
As it paused right beside me
Then softly fluttered on by
I watched as it flew away
With such beauty and grace
Until its gentle flutter
And brilliant color
I could no longer see
It may be coming to you
Perhaps right to your door
Waiting for you to come out
And watch it flutter in the air
Just a little while more...
