Best Friend

I know that there are many things
With which I'm truly blessed
And problems have been very few
But one thing that's the best.

When things are not as they should be
My friends will say "in a bit"
Yet you never wait for me to ask
Right away you just do it.



As I sit and ponder
There is nothing more to do
But I am very thankful
For a special friend like you.

So thank you from my very heart
For what you have done for me
And know I'm always here for you
The best friend that I can be.
