In the comfort of not having to explain
In the gentleness of 'friends'



And, you shall enjoy the same, as so shall I
Delight in all you are and have
As the heart of 'friends'
And, you shall come to me, as I to you
When life hurts and tears flow
In the prayer of 'friends'



And, you shall be open-real, as so shall I
Speak plain, for there is nought to hide
When we are 'friends'



As, day by day you shall feel safe, as I
With you, for God has given us
The everlasting love of 'friends'



And thus, our cup shall always overflow
From all the secrets God reveals when
He made us everlasting 'friends'
