My Father always knew for me
The most perfect lasting gift,
And so with care your spirit cast
His love to me to give.
He formed in you your loving thoughts
And shaped your listening ears,
Upon your face He set a smile
And in each eye sweet glistening tears.
He gently styled strong caring hands
Your life for Him to ring,
With soul to echo as He tolls
Set with untiring wings....
To fly to me, whene'er He wills
With all He would impart,
To care for me, with His own love
He placed in you, His heart.

Poetry From The Heart
God took with all the love He had,
sweet tender caring hands,
soft eyes that only see the good
a dear heart that understands,
a joy to bring encouragement
a love to never end...
Then wrapping all with tender thought
He called His gift
"My FRIEND"
