Two Roses

Two Roses....

There seems to be the two of us
But, we are fused from one,
One in God's eternal life
One, in all His love.

Facing outward we e'er live
The life God's called us to,
But, of the soul, we always know
It's oneness we conclude.

One of fragrance, though apart,
Spliced in Whom we live,
Friends we are and friends we'll be
In the love of God we live.
