Cup Of Friendship

I offer unto you my heart
Full of love within,
I share with you the cup of Jesus life
To share of where we've been.
I offer you untold moments of time
As much as it will take,
To be the best of friends
Each refreshing sip appreciate.
I offer you fellowship of a living water
Overflowing love divine,
For what we share of heaven together
Will also bless this heart of mine.
I offer you all I have from God above
For whatever life unfolds,
We shall share this cup of friendship
For all the sweetness it will hold.

If it was by God's will we met,
by choice we then became fast friends...
Friendship is a strange thing....
we find ourselves telling each other the deepest details of our lives
things we may not even share with our families who raised us..
But what is a friend? A confidant? A touch of heaven? A fellow emailer?
A shoulder to cry on? an ear to listen and pray? a heart to feel?...
A friend is all these things...and more. No matter where we met,
~I call you friend~
A word so small...yet so large in feeling...a word filled with meaning.
