The Treasures Of Friendship
Is in a pink toned rose
You can almost smell its fragrance
And see the beauty there enclosed
Reminding us of friendship
The treasure that we share
So gentle and delightful
The way we always care
And if I took our friendship
Just like two pretty petals
And pressed them 'tween two papers
So unforgettable
Then waited just a while
Until they surely dried
I could place them in a frame
To remember you and I
Two petals side by side
Plucked from a velvet rose
A memory of our caring
Of the music we compose
Of the tune we sing together
Of Heaven's gift of love
God was pleased to grant us
As a treasure from above.
