I saw your rosebud bloom today
It burst out in the sun,
The unfolding of its petals
Tells me of your love.
It's standing high upon the stem
Enframed in pretty leaves,
I gazed upon your rose with awe
Because of all it breathes.
It brings a touch of God to me
The wonder of His hand,
Creating perfect beauty, life
For me to understand.
He's holding me upright too
Surrounded by your prayer,
Nestled in your rosebud
I feel your arms of care.
