~ Gift Of Prayer ~

You bless me with your gift
Your gift of interceding prayer,
The tears of love, compassion
Reveal how much you care.

This is a gift from God above
And though you do not see,
He's working through your heart
To bless the heart of me.



In your soul you do not know
What God's accomplishing,
But, as you pray and praise and sing
My life is strengthening.

God unfolds His deepest thoughts
In a special way to you,
And I am over-awed
By how you know what's true.



He grants you real perception
Within your normal day,
You have a gift from heaven above
In knowing what to pray.
