God's Rainbow

The heavy rain has turned into a mist,
The rolling thunder has passed on by,
Long steaks of lightning begin to fade,
God placed a rainbow across the sky.

God promised a rainbow as a sign,
I know His promise is always true.
A rainbow is His eternal message
That He is speaking to me and you.
God will guide us through the cold storm
Relieving all fears and keeping us warm.
His beautiful rainbow will always appear,
The rainbow tells us that God is near.

Never give in to the woes of dismay,
Remember God's rainbow and pray.
Thank Him for blessings along our way,
Believing we will live with Him one day.
