The very quiet things
In the stillness of a day
puncture our solitude...
Whisking our minds so far away
to another time and place



The picturesque lines
Held in creativity, in balance,
Made of light and shadow...
make our thoughts
flow in a grateful dance



The depth of color, misty hue
In remembrance we have known
recall pungent feelings
Making pictures in our mind...
that emerge from long ago



The looking out beyond
The contrasts of the near and far,
Seeing much by soulful art
echoes loveliness...
something special to impart



I can see you in my memory
I can see you with my heart
