It's Grandpa's Day
I want to come and spend the day
Just with you and me,
We will wile away the time
As you would have it be.
Then as you rest and reminisce
I will sit so near,
And listen to your stories
Such adventures down the years.
But when the day is done
And the sun sinks very low,
I'll be sad to leave you all alone Grandpa
Cause you're the very best of God's best
That I will ever know.
