A Grandfather's Love

I love you dear Grandfather
For all you mean to me,
I think of you each day I pray
And wonder how you've been.



This day I make especially yours
As I just want to say,
I thank God you're my Grandpa
For all the joy you give away.



Of all the grandfathers in the world
The most special one to find
Is the only one that I can see
Because you're truly mine



Thankyou for the faith you live
And how wonderful you are,
I am guided by your footsteps
And the love within your heart.



So I send to you this card
With a love that is sincere,
No other Grandpa in the world
Could ever be so dear.

A Grandpa is a person who is loving and kind,
And often he knows what you have on your mind.
He's someone who listens, suggests, and defends
A Grandpa can be one of your very best friends!
He's proud of your triumphs but when things go wrong
A Grandpa can be patient and helpful and strong.
In all that you do, a Grandpa's love plays a part
There's always a place for him
deep in your heart.
