Ringing doorbells, pumpkin shells
Wicked witches casting spells
Black cats....even blacker bats
Everything from snakes to rats

Spooky sounds invade the night
Makes one shiver in delight
Spider webs, screams and moans
Graves erected on the lawns

Count Dracula and Frankenstein
Princesses of every kind
Candy corn and popcorn balls
Be wary as the darkness falls

Always have some treats around
Word has spread from town to town
Some strange creatures have been seen
They're hungry and it's Halloween

Ha!  Ha! Ha!
